Now, Kerala Govt to the e-auction mine

Thiruvananthapuram: For the first time, the government mine in this country will go for e-avelity, which will not only ensure transparency but also takes handsome income for the government through auction, in addition to the cost of Seigniorage and royalties on mined products.
The deadline for completing the offer has been repaired on October 30.
Individuals of district collectors have found Porambow’s land income available in certain districts that are suitable for excavation and will place them on the e-auction site, which will then be auctioned at the base price of Rs 10 lakh per hectare per year, for a 12-year lease period.
Until now, the mine on the land of the government was given permission (they were less than one hectare in the area) and were rented (more than one hectare) based on the first-cum-service serve.
Also, the certificate does not mind (NOCS) issued by the income department then given at no cost.
With e-avelief in place, offers can take a number above Rs 10 lakh every year for hectares, if the place is in high demand.
Once the bidder receives NOC from the income department, he must get another mandatory license from the Ministry of Mining and Geology, each local body, pollution control board, explosives and environmental permits.
However, district collectors have been ordered to ensure that the land is identified for excavation fulfilling a series of rules.
Land should not fall in vulnerable landslides (red zone) based on the state disaster management plan approved (SDMP), 2016 and the findings of the vulnerable areas of Kerala, 2014.
Land must also be out of ecologically sensitive areas, sensitive zones ecologically, forest, crz where mining is prohibited, etc.
Government land where there is a ban standing under various laws (eg forest law, land leased for specific purposes, etc.) must be kept away from excavation.
It must also prescribe distance (according to the rules of mineral mineral concessions) of buildings and other structures and have road access to the top of the area identified.
In cases where there is no road access to the proposed site, the offer is made only when road access to the ground is available.
Although all of these conditions are filled with identifying government mines, there are personal mines that function illegally without the permission of legislation with conviStives with several officials, said sources.
Officially stated by the government that there were 586 official mine which functions in the state.
These include 57 in Thiruvananthapuram, 25 each in Kollam and Kottayam, 52 in Pathanamthitta, five each at Alapapuzha and Wayanad, 17 in Idukki, 62 in Ernakulam, 61 in Palakkad, 109 in Malappuram, 64 each in Kozhikode and Kannur and 14 in Kasaragod.
“There are at least a few three times the number of mines rather than official numbers, including many of which are not licensed.
This is to bring control of the illegal mine instructed by the police to use the relevant parts of the explosive law and order it.
But almost There are no results, “said an upper department official.
