Panaji: In an effort to seduce the majority voting in Goa and released BJP’s accusations from the Minority Appeasement, all National Secretary General (TMC) Trinamool (TMC) Abhishek Banerjee began a two-day trip to Goa by visiting Rudreshwar Temple and Shri Samsthan Gokarn.
Partagali Jeevottam Mathematics where he performed religious rituals and interacted with the priests of the temple.
Banerjee, Nephew of Head of Bengal Bengal Bengala Mamata Banerjee, said that he was “proud Hindu” and “Ifent worshipers of Lord Mahadev”.
In the same breath, he said that politics and religion must be separated.
“It is our faith that brings us here.
I pray that we keep this brotherhood, peace and unity, which is a rich multi-cultural heritage of the whole cave,” Banerjee said.
TMC MP said that “split power” desperately tried to knock down the secular fabric of Goa by mixing religion with politics.
Banerjee visited Rudreshwar Temple in Sakhali followed by a visit to Shri Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math in Canacona.
At Rudreshwar Temple, Banerjee performed a ritual and bid on prayer before the priest.
He then met Shreemad Vidyadheesh Teerth Shreepad Vader Swamiji at Shri Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math where both of them discussed the Laxmi Griha scheme and his feasibility in Goa.
