Patna: In an effort to help passengers achieve their own goals with their choice vehicles, Division Danapur from East Central Railway (ECR) has launched a travel desk on Patna Junction.
One can also rent a vehicle drive itself for Outstation visits.
The Danapur Division Train manager, Sunil Kumar, told reporters on Monday that the facility was introduced at Patna Junction on Sunday given the sudden increase at the point of the passenger after recovering a few pairs of trains.
“The travel desk all the time at Junction Patna provides pick-and-drop services to passengers.
They can also make digital payments to utilize facilities,” he added.
The travel desk came true after the head of the ECR commercial manager, Amitabh Prabhakar, showed interest in the project.
Commercial manager of the senior division, Adhar Raj, showed that the train had launched facilities without profit, there was no basis.
“The travel desk has almost 150 GPS-based vehicles, which includes large cars like Innova.
They can be easily traced and the cost is nominal,” he added.
Division Danapur also received permission from the train to launch electric rental bicycle facilities in the city.
“We are working on plans and consulting with various institutions for that purpose,” said Raj.
