Now, pay the country to rebel your land, help change the climate battle of Goa

Panaji: Even when climate change increases the temperature in Goa faster than throughout the country, the state has proposed a scheme in which individuals and institutions can help the government of the battle of global warming by paying for planting and caring for trees in their land.
This is how it works: individuals (or institutions) pay the council of the Biodiversity of Goa Countries to rebel their empty land with native and useful trees.
Board, in its part, not only planted trees but also cared for them.
If the young tree dies, it will be replaced.
The cost depends on the soil type: for example, the board will charge the RS 7,000 fee to plant trees in rocky soils or plateau and take care of it for five years.
In other areas, prices for the same service will become RS 5,000.
In doing this, landowners contribute their shares in the state battle against climate change.
There are various incentives in the scheme too.
For example, new puppies can commemorate the birth of children, warning people who have died, mark warnings, or for institutions, celebrate important milestones.
The plan was rooted in the Mopa Airport project, where the government involved the cave state biodiversity council to reforest land.
Driven by the result, the board is now framed the scheme that offers its services to all.
The anus will be purchased from the Ministry of Forestry or farmers and local nurseries.
The village biodiversity committee will also be involved, and some local voluntary organizations, schools and colleges can also be defeated.
Those who want to use this service and sign the MoU with the Board will have the right to enjoy the fruits and benefits of the trees.
However, if the council itself takes plantation activities with the village committee or working with the Ministry of Forestry, the benefits will be distributed 50/50 by both.
“The plantation must be carried out in such a way that support must be provided for the first five years.
This plantation scheme is mainly to ensure the intensification of existing green coverings with indigenous trees that are useful from the point of view of ecological and economic perspectives,” scheme countries.
“If the Applicant wants to plant more than ten trees gradually, payment can be allowed to be made with installments, but the actual implementation will only begin after receiving 100% of the advance payment,” the council said.
