Aizawl: The day after the government of Himanta Buswa Sarma ordered that all vehicles entering Assam from Mizoram would be examined for drugs, Mizoram replied on Friday by accusing illegal pharmaceutical drugs, as well as the “smuggled” heroin from the larger.

He showed that from 1,680 drugs related to drugs in Mizoram since 1984 to the present, 1,161 deaths were caused by the abuse of clinical medicines – Spasmo ProxyVon / Parvon Spa – which was 69.11% of the total death-related deaths.
He alleged that all Spasmo Proxyvon / Parvon Spa (DextroproXyphene HCL) was smuggled to Mizoram from Assam since 1990 when four deaths related to drugs because the leading painkillers were identified.
In addition to 1,161 deaths in Mizoram because Spasmo Pryxvon / Parvon Spa Abuse, 213 others have died of Heroin and 277 because of the abuse of other pharmaceutical drugs, he said.
Minister of Mizoram and Minister of Public Relations Lalruatkima fired a media report citing Senior Assam officials involved by state ministers in drug and narcotics trade.
“If there are ministers found involved in such activities, the opposition and the people will crucify it,” said Lalruatkima.
A house department official said the threat of drugs in Mizoram has become a serious headache for the state government.
