Now, students to share ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with PM via postcards

VARANATION: After the success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program where he shared thoughts with people, now school children have been given the opportunity to share ‘Mann Ki Baat’ (ideas) with him through postcards on the topic -Topik ‘unsung hero struggle freedom’ and ‘my vision for India in 2047’.
Innovative campaigns, ’75 lakh ‘postcard campaign, have been designed under the Azadi Celebration of the Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) and will also give you the experience of writing letters in this e-mail and social media era.
It has been launched by the Post Department in collaboration with the Ministry of Education & Literacy of Schools, the Ministry of Education and is being carried out from December 1 to 20.
Providing this information, General Postmaster Varanasi Krishna Kumar Yadav said, “About two Lakh students from the Varanasi area took part in the campaign to write postcards to PM.
Students belong to class IV to class XII from schools affiliated with CBSE, including Kendriya Vidyalaya and Navodaya Vidyalaya, and schools affiliated with state educational boards can participate.
“He added,” the language used to write postcards is English, Hindi and all the scheduled languages.
The Post Department is organizing postcard writing competitions in various schools for Motivating students.
“More than one Lakh postcard has been given to school on their request until now.
“The postal department provides postcards to school by putting the address of the rubber stamp from the PM office on each postcard to be used for campaigns.
Postcards can be purchased for 50 Paisa per unit.
Settings have been made by the Post Department to send all postcards through special bags to Office PM on the specified date, “he added.
“This campaign gives you young people to find out about unsung heroes from freedom struggles.
The participants will also get a platform to share their views with PM to lift and develop India in 2047,” Yadav said, added, “the younger generation too Will get a letter writing experience in the era of e-mail and social media.
“” After the campaign, each school will do all entries to enter a maximum of 10 postcards with the best ideas.
This postcard will then be scanned and uploaded by school.
From That number, 75 students throughout the country with the best ideas on their postcards will be invited to the last event to be held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on January 17, 2022 and will have the opportunity to interact with PM, “he said.
“About 500-1,000 postcards have the best ideas will be displayed during the exhibition compiled on this occasion,” Yadav further explained.
‘Mann Ki Baat’ is a radio program organized by PM where he discusses people across Indian radio, DD National and DD News.
The first performance was aired on October 3, 2014.
