Mumbai: The best bus frequency will be repaired on “maximum 15 minutes” on all routes from September 1, announcing General Manager Lokesh Chandra on Friday.
Chandra said there were regular complaints from commuting, mostly office visitors, who were frustrated at the bus stop for 30-45 minutes during rush hour, especially during the rainy season.
Chandra has directed 26,000 of the best drivers, conductors, bus inspectors, and senior officers to strictly maintain the frequency of “a maximum of 15 minutes”.
In terms of violations, there may be reviews and actions of the department, if the reason is not original.
Restrictions on incidents such as massive traffic growling or natural disasters, such as floods, the best drivers must stab buses at intervals of three to 15 minutes.
