New Delhi: To constantly monitor the implementation of the city special action plan to improve air quality in 132 cities of non-achievement, the center on Tuesday launched a special portal that will support the tracking of physical and financial status from the plan under the National Clean Air Program (NCAP ).
The program was launched in January 2019 to improve air quality through city special action plans in all such cities that did not meet the national ambient air quality standards (NAAQ).
Under the NCAP, the center and the countries together will work to reduce the level of particle material (PM10 and PM2.5) of 20-30% from the 2017 level (basic year) in 2024.

In 2019 compared to 2018 and this number increased to 104 cities by 2020, “said Minister of Environment Bhupender Yadav at an event to mark the second international day for the blue sky.
He, on that occasion, launched the portal and almost inaugurated the first functional romance tower in India in Anand Vihar in the capital.
Overcoming stakeholders, Jadav also shares the details of all initiatives taken by the government to improve air quality in the country.
The second net international day for the blue sky was also marked by the first Indian-Japanese high-level policy dialogue between Yadav and Koizumi Shinjiro, the Japanese Minister of Environment, in which the two countries discussed the issue of air pollution, sustainable technology and transportation, climate change, marine waste, and Problems related to the 26th session that will come from the UN Climate Conference (COP26).
