Coimbatore: The applicant who walks into the police station will now be greeted by a police officer with a friendly smile, who will lend his ears to their complaints and guide them to the officers concerned.
The female police from City Armed Police forces were deployed at the reception table of 15 laws & reservations of police stations, three female police stations and two traffic investigations on Thursday as part of the initiative launched by the City Police Commissioner Deepak M Damor.
The police underwent a two-day training program conducted by deputies of additional commissioners.
