Now, uniform is not mandatory for online classes

Ranchi: The State Education Department has decided to get rid of mandatory uniform rules during the online class carried out for government school students.
The students will not be sent back if they come to their school without uniforms to collect dry rations or storage costs.
This step came after the problems faced by students because the garment shop was closed and their parents faced financial problems because of covid-induced locking.
At present, the department is conducting online classes through various applications such as Youtube.
The presence of students in these classes, however, are low.
Speaking of this issue, the Director of the Jharkhand Project Education Board, Shailesh Chaurasia, said, “Even though we encourage school dresses for students, there is no coercion.
Our basic goal is that the maximum number of students must participate in online classes.” Kumari Deepa’s online class coordinator Deepa from Ranchi District said, “Students are asked to join classrooms with their study material, including books, copy books and pens.
They are expected to appear neat but there is no warning if they do not uniformed school.” He told him because of various problems, Including poor connectivity and lack of gadgets, participation of students in online classes has been reduced to 10% or 15%.
A senior school official said with fabric shops closed for months because of restrictions, students will face problems getting new school uniforms if they are obligatory.
The head of the Girls Bariyatu Girls, Rita Kumari, said that even though the dress code was not enforced, students appeared for online classes in neat clothes.
He shows that it is difficult to monitor every student because most of them put their devices in mute mode.
Students remove the device only when they have to ask questions or give answers.
It can be stated here that the state government provides a series of uniforms for all students from class I to VIII while girls get it up to class XII.
Many parents also say their children have surpassed their uniforms after more than a year are locked.
