Ahmedabad: The thief flew a locked bungalow from the NRI couple in the Legal Park and was put to sleep with cash and valuable goods worth Rs 1.30 lakh.
The incident occurred in the first week of January at the Garden Enclave Society near the Tambu Chowky police.
Bungalow owners live in Canada.
Complaints submitted by Kartikeya Vyas, a resident of Sharda Society in Paldi.
He is a bungalo caretaker owned by his brother Himanshuraay Vyas.
On January 1, Kartikeya had gone to his brother’s house with Panchal Amrat, their domestic assistance, to make it clean.
Then, they locked the house and left.
On Saturday morning, Panchus called Kartikya and told him that the key at the bungalow’s main door was broken.
Kartikeya rushed home and found it searched.
He told the police that Rs 30,000 in cash, 10 silver coins worth RS 10,000, two bracelets worth RS 5,000, a chain worth RS 5,000, a gold ring worth RS 20,000 and a platinum chain worth 60,000 rs.
Police Navrangpura has registered the theft case and began investigating.
