NRI donated 1kg gold to the Ambaji temple

Palanpur: An NRI settled in the US and the native of Balisna Village in Patan Regency contributed one kilogram of gold worth 48 lakh Rs to Tuxji Temple Trust on Tuesday.
Gold biscuits were handed over to the Banskantha collector Anand District Anand Patel, who was the Chair of the Ex-Officio Aarasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust (SAAMDT), which manages the Ambaji Temple.
According to an official, until the 61st foot from the golden coating at the temple was finished.
Apart from 140 kg of gold, 15,711 kg copper has also been used for coating.
People from distant places come to the Dewi Amba temple singing Bhajans.
