NRI donated money to park in Jagraon Village

Kamalpura (Jagraon): Toronto-based NRI from Kamalpura Village has realized the dream of the population from a public park by contributing RS 16 Lakh to it.
Taman Seven Canals are being developed on land with villages by the Park Development Committee and the majority of work has been completed.
Villager Balbir Singh said because there was no park in the village, Nri Gurdev Singh donated money for it.
“Previously, Nri gave money for the development of the village.
A Park Management Committee of five members was formed for development on the insistence of NRI.” Balwinder Singh, a member of the committee, said, “There is no park in the village and we did not get assistance from the government.

Money, we started the job about one and a half years ago.
Because Covid, the job suffered, but it was almost finished now.
This park has two gazebos with chairs for people.
There is room for women with chairs, swings for children and children Water cooling.
The government does not help us, but they should at least provide an open gym.
“Villager Iqbal Singh said the park looked at the visitors in the morning and evening.
The villagers are also happy.
“I am happy that a park has appeared in the village and other infrastructure being developed,” said Raghuvir Singh fuel businessman, who has lived in Birtamod, Nepal, for the past 42 years.
Jaspreet Singh, a child from a village regularly went to the park, said, “I came here to play, besides being swinged too.” Helping in the construction of residents said the village has around 150 Nris living in Canada, England, New Zealand, the United States and Australia.
They have helped in the construction of advanced stadiums, private universities with a nominal cost for female students and Dharamshala.
