Hyderabad: Not only for children to return to school, but also for Nris from Telangana, settle in various parts of the world.
They returned – did not study – but to return it to schools that care for them to reach where they were today.
With the launch of the ‘Mana Badu’ program, the state government has been seeking NRI involvement to improve infrastructure in all schools throughout the state.
On Saturday, Minister of Administration Municipal KT Rama Rao and Minister of Education Sabitha Indra Reddy held a Zoom meeting with Nris from Telangana and told them about this program.
After living in the US and worked there, KT Rama Rao himself announced that he would adopt the school he attended at first in Chintamadaka Village in Siddipet District.
Chief of Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao comes from the village and has given his ancestral home for school a few years ago.
Trs Coordinator Nri Mahesh Bigala told me that he would donate 1 crore to school, he studied at Nizamabad.
Interestingly, during zoom calls, Nris from Andhra Pradesh also participated in this program and said that they would also take part in this program to develop government schools.
Secretary of the Head of Education Sandeep Kumar Sultania said there were 26,000 government schools and 7,289 crores would be spent on infrastructure in all form phases.
Donors will also be part of the school management committee.
School buildings can be named after their chosen people depend on the donation.
