New Delhi: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Tuesday met his colleagues from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in the capital and held detailed discussions about the crisis of humanitarian that rose in Afghanistan.
During the meeting, Tajikistan highlighted the gravity of the situation in Afghanistan and also expressed concern about a sharp increase in terrorist threats from the nation in the past.
Discussions occur in deepening cooperation in areas such as defense, border management and border infrastructure development during bilateral talks held between the two countries.
Talk with Uzbekistan also focused on Afghanistan, with both sides agreed that Afghans themselves must decide their future.
They feel that the legitimacy of every Afghan government in Afghanistan is more important than the problem of international recognition.
Both parties also emphasized the need for neighboring Afghanistan to ensure access to humanitarian aid that was not blocked for the people of the nation.
The need to encourage the development of the Afghan economy was also highlighted during the meeting.
