Paris: National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Saturday met with his colleagues for annual strategic dialogue between the two countries in Paris.
Doval co-cheamed strategic dialogue with Emmanuel Bonne, Diplomatic Advisor for the President of the Republic of France, Emmanuel Macron.
The French delegation also included a head military advisor to Macron, Admiral Jean-Philippe Rolland.
NSA Doval also met Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Florence Parly, Minister of Armed Forces.
Doval and Emmanuel Bonne discussed various problems of global and regional interests.
Both underlined the importance of Indo-Pacific and cooperation in the region.
According to the release issued by the Indian Embassy in Paris, “France emphasized its sustainable commitment to the Indo-Pacific region, as a force of population, and partnership with India as the main pillar of its Indo-Pacific strategy.” NSA Doval insists that France is one of the main Indo-Indo-Pacific partners of India.
Both sides reaffirmed the vision articulated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Emmanuel Macron the most recently during their meeting at the G20 Summit Margin in Rome that their strategic partnerships have an important role in advancing peace, stability, and security in the Pacific region, based on values The value of democracy and general belief in strategic autonomy, legal rules, multipolarity and multilateralism.
India also welcomes the EU Indo-Pacific strategy and looks for the European Union French President in the first half of 2022 as an opportunity to provide a further form of EU involvement in the Indo-Pacific region, including in security, connectivity, sustainability and economic development, in accordance with the release issued by the Indian Embassy after dialogue.
Doval and Bonne discuss the global security environment, including current developments and long-term challenges in the Indo-Pacific region; The situation in Afghanistan, Africa, Southeast Asia and West Asia; Sustainable terrorism challenges; And, threats that appear in the maritime domain, cyber and space.
They agreed that the trend that emerged in global affairs strengthened the need for a closer partnership between India and France, including in the UNSC forum and others.

France repeated his commitment to fully support the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi about Atmanirbhar Bharat and defense industrialization, joint development and technology development in India in various sophisticated abilities, based on old cooperation and mutual trust.
Building a successful Indian-France initiative on the International Sun Alliance, both parties emphasize the need to accelerate cooperation in clean energy, including civilian nuclear energy and green hydrogen, the word release.
