NU maintains the value of ‘a’ at the limit with CGPA 3.01

Nagpur: Although some difficulties because of the Pandemic Covid-19, Nagpur University has managed to maintain the value of ‘a’ from the National Assessment and Acreditation Council (NAAC).
The seventh oldest university in India, was fortunate to reach the average score of cumulative points (CGPA) 3.01 on a four-point scale, which was the limit to get a ‘class’ class, according to NU officials.
There are two more values above this – ‘A +’ and ‘A ++’.
Anything under ‘A’ will bring shame for universities and more than four Lakh students, given the fact that it will celebrate a hundred years in two years.
The new rating will apply for five years to 2026 September.
In the third cycle, from 2009 to 2014, NAAC has provided the same value as 3.08 CGPA, which is the average class point obtained in all parameters.
Even NU officials were not sure about getting good grades, especially after the Mock Naac team analyzed the bad ‘B’ which was reported exclusively by TOI on August 31.
Carefully acknowledging that it was “unexpected”, said Chancellor Subhash Chaudhari’s deputy team of their entire team worked very hard to eliminate the difference shown by the Mock Naac team after examining the university from August 5.
“After taking over Nu Reins in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic, we faced many challenges as a new team.
We are forced to conduct an online check and at the same time, the self-learning report (SSR) will be submitted to NAAC.
Then we need to change the report because of NAAC Changing the norm.
We previously sent SSR from 2014 to 2019, but they wanted data from 2015 to 2020.
They even changed the rules and made it more complicated, “VC said happily, which was flanked by Pro-VC Sanjay Dudhe and other high-ranking officials.
Describe what happened to Nu Nu, he said their plan to develop courses, syllabus and teaching and learning in line with the proposed national education policy (NEP) was favored by a team of six NAAC members who visited the University of September 2 September 4.
“They also praised our online inspection system and sports facilities and complete gymnasium offered to students.
They appreciate our Serikulture Department where we provide training to rural youth and farmers.
We also clean the criteria for their research, papers and patents.
They Like our focus on online learning.
“Explaining the advantages of ‘a’ assessment, VC said it would allow NU to seek funds under various heads from the government and other institutions.
“We are now planning to start a certificate related to defense and technical courses and aim to make all our departments autonomous,” he said.
