Nagpur: Even after rigid opposition from members of the legal entity, Nagpur University has advanced and contracted Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited (MKCL).
NU has provided the first semester exam work to Pune-based companies, as reported by TOI on October 27.
However, the entire agreement with the company was under the scanner after members questioned the NU administration led by the representatives of Chaudhari’s life about the agreement.
They have asked how the work is allocated to the company “blacklist” which is also without floating anything.
Accused VC and the team did not maintain transparency, the members had decided to strongly oppose moving to the rope at MKCL without consulting legal entities such as the Academic Council, Senate and Examination Board and Evaluation (Boee).
They warn that they will corner VC for such a “unilateral” decision and also submitted a complaint to Chancels Bhagat Singh Koshyari, the Minist of Higher Education and Technical Uday Samant, and Director of Higher Education Dhanraj Mane in this matter.
Senate member Mohan Bajpayee, who opposed MKCL since 2009, said they were surprised to hear the news that the university introduced a company that had failed to love it to provide the promised e-service service, despite RS50 charging from each student.
“How can they bind the company on the Old Testament 2011-12 after being overthrown because of its very bad appearance.
Moreover, there is no floating tender before giving a contract.
And what urgency to bring MKCL at this stage? Obviously, VC is under political pressure.
Other no other reason behind his movements, “he said.
Adjusting the stand, another Senate member Pravin Udapure said the inclusion of the company ‘blacklist’ put a big question mark in the VC step.
“Ideally, NU should floating national tenders, before giving a sensitive test work, because the future of Lakh students is directly associated with him.
The administration also defends legal members in the dark before giving a contract to MKCL.
We will greatly increase this problem during the next senate meeting scheduled After diwali on November 11 or 12, “he told TI.
The NU box wrote to MKCL MD to start a letter service written by Raju Hiwase to MKCL Managing Director has asked the company to restart its services according to the agreement between them in 2011-12, as early as possible.
The copy of the letter, which has TII, told Pune-based companies to make appropriate changes in the software according to the current needs of university students and administration.
Strangely, the letter was aimed at Vivek Sawant, who had left the MD post, and now operates as head of the company’s mentor.
At present, Veena Kamant keeps MD fees according to the MKCL website.
Quoting the decision taken by the NU Management Board during the meeting that appeared on October 11, the Registrar added that with VC’s permission, the government had decided to provide the first semester exam work to MKCL and therefore, it must begin to take over for the coming winter examination.
