NU Senate members Fulfill pro-VC, Require Examination, tuition fee

Nagpur: In light of the increasing need from students for decrease in tuition and examination fee billed by the schools, Nagpur University Senate members on Monday fulfilled pro-vice chancellor Sanjay Dudhe and passed more than a representation of requirements in this respect. The senators comprised Vishnu Changde, Samay Bansod, Tarzan Gaikwad, Waman Turke, Pravin Udapure, Sameer Parate and many others. They fulfilled Dudhe as based on these, VC Subhash Chaudhari was not keeping well and considered to be in house isolation because last 1 week approximately. As stated by the associates, Dudhe has promised to table the dilemma of decrease in NU examination fees and college charges prior to the coming Management Council meeting. They stated Dudhe also consented to the need to constitute a board for waiving the examination and school tuition fees for students who were infected by Covid-19 or’ve lost their parents into it. The panel will include Senate members together with NU officials. The NU government also reacted favorably to Senate members’ need to present an insurance plan for those pupils and NU staffers. The participants wanted that NU should endure whole expenses to the insurance plan for pupils at least with this season thinking about the pandemic scenario. The participants told TOI the NU have to repay the charges as it did not need to run manual moderation and evaluation of response sheets newspapers for the previous two examinations. “Additionally, NU would likewise be saving holding newspapers at the test centers and depriving invigilators and other employees there, apart from transport. Furthermore, it did not need to publish lakhs of queries newspapers and answer sheets, and so saving on print.
