NU short-term defense courses to provide industrial work candidates

Nagpur: In some good news for candidates who are looking for work in Mihan, the University of Nagpur will soon launch a short-term course associated with making defense, where they will be trained according to the company’s requirements.
Governor of Bhagat Singh Koshyari has agreed to stay present during the initial function, while the University Authority tries to invite Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to the event.
With large companies such as Dassault Reliance Aerospace Limited (DRAL) expand their operations in Mihan, and many weapons factories operating in Nagpur and Vidarbha, candidates who pursue these courses have a good opportunity to be recruited.
“We are waiting for the Visit of the National Assessment and Acreditation Council (NAAC).
Our preparation for launching a defense related course is complete.
We are only waiting for the inauguration, which may be held this month.
STD X and XII passed candidates will be eligible for these programs .
Even the diploma clearing of various industrial training institutes (ITIS) can take admission, “said Vice Chancellor Subhash Chaudhari.
NU will also allow affiliate engineering programs to start the ‘MTech In Defense Studies’ program, which will be a duration of two years.
“We plan to collaborate with the defense industry to find out about their requirements so we can train students accordingly.
All of our courses will be skill-based and job-oriented.
We will try to train students so they are ready to work when they faint,” VC said.
Among other plans, Chaudhari, which was flanked by Pro-VC Sanjay Dudhe, said NU had also planned a course in collaboration with leading companies such as Consultancy Services (TCS) and IBM, so students can be directly recruited by them.
The cell placement is centered from all NUs carried out by college and department as well as in the pipe.
The Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology NU Prashant Prashant Maheshwari told that the university had given permission for college engineering to start a degree program in the fields that appeared such as intelligence and artificial data analysis.
“We each formed two interdisciplinary boards for each technique and science, where students can pursue various courses according to their choice,” he said.
Supported by success in maintaining the value of ‘a’ in NAAC ranking, pro-VC Sanjay Dudhe announced that the university will start two new departments on his campus from the next academic session (2022-23).
NU currently has 47 departments spread across various places.
“We will start the Department of Work and social geography, which will be under the Faculty Humanities,” he said.
It will happen after almost a decade that the new department will begin in NU.
The previous department of trade and molecular biology and genetic engineering was operational in 2011-12, NU official said.
