Dubai: Iran talks with six world powers aimed at reviving the nuclear deal in 2015 will be continued at the end of November, top nuclear negotiator said on Wednesday, as concerns the West over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear progress grow.
“Having a constructive dialogue with @enriquemora on elements for a successful negotiation.
We agreed to start negotiations before the end of November,” Ali Bagheri Kani tweeted after meeting EU officials in Brussels.
“The exact date will be announced in the course of next week,” he added.
However, French diplomatic sources said that France, Britain and Germany (E3) has not received an invitation to meet Iran.
“We do not accept such an invitation.
We are ready to meet with E3 at the earliest possible convenience, and regretted Iran rejected our proposal to do so today while ABK (the source said) in Europe,” the source said.
In April, Tehran and the six powers began to discuss ways to salvage the nuclear pact.
But the talks have been suspended since Hardline Iranian presidential election in June, Ebrahim Raisi.
