Ghaziabad: Administration of the Combined Pain Regency has recommended actions to the assistant nurse supervisor and other staff for allegations of negligence after 104 oxygen tubes missing from medical facilities during the second wave.
FIR was also submitted recently by hospitals against unknown people.
Dr.
Sanjay Teotia, medical supervisory head, said, “Assistant Nursing Supervisors Kusum Chopra was used to manage stock books.
After this problem was revealed, a panel was formed.
” The panel said Chopra had entered the details of the acceptance of oxygen cylinders in stock books, but did not take any receipt after giving them to the Covid ward.
He also told the committee that it was not needed.
Dr.
Teotia said he had asked for an explanation.
Nurse staff have also been asked to inform whether the takeover of hospital property was carried out by them at the end of each shift during that time.
Chopra said he followed the commands given by senior officials.
He added that there were more patients in the ward and they needed oxygen supply.
