Hyderabad: Veteran Congress and former MP V Hanumanth Rao has demanded that Chairman K Chandrasekhar Rao make the OBC data collected during the “Samagra Kutumba Survey” in 2014 in this country.
Referring to the instructions handed down by CM that BC Bandhu will also be offered on the lines of Dalit Bandhu, VHR, because the congress veterans are known, demanding that Telangana have to pass the resolution in the state assembly for the wise OBC census being raised in this country by Narendra Modi-LED BJP government.
Stating that the wise OBCS details are important for the implementation of BC Bandhu or other schemes in the state or at the national level, Hanumanth Rao said that CM KCr must put pressure on fashionable-wise to take OBC census.
Census OBC caste-wise has not been taken in the country after independence.
The state government of Bihar has urged PM to take the Census of Caste-Wise OBC, and the Telangana Government must also join the league because OBC consists of 50 percent of the population in the country and 56 percent in Telangana, he said.
Veteran congress said the provisions of the cream layer in reservations for BCS harmed their development and had to be done, because the SCS quota and STS did not have a cream layer concept.
