Jaipur: Some organizations under other back-class banners (OBC) Adikhar Manchar has fired a letter to CM Ashok Gehlot and Governor Kalaraj Mishra demanded a separate reservation for OBC in the Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) for the appreciation of Rajasthan’s feasibility for the teacher (reet ), Chiefly on September 26.
The tribal area follows a different reservation scheme including a 45% seat for ST, 50% to the public including the categories that are booked and 5% for SC.
This organization argues that OBC candidates in areas dominated by tribes not only have reservations, but also relaxation in age and percentage for OBC in non-tribal areas.
Naresh Patel, OBC Coordinator Adhikar MANH, said the OBC candidate received 21% of reservation seats in non-tribal areas and 5% MBC candidates.
“We have demanded that the state must calculate the OBC population including the TSP area.
This will remove the image of the tribal population in the TSP area and hence, the reservation must be given,” he said.
The TSP area includes Dungarpur, Udaipur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh, Pali Sirohi and Rajsamand.
Nathulat Patidar, Manchor’s protector said the Bihar State Assembly has passed the resolution that must be calculated.
The state has provided a 5% relaxation for OBC aspirants but does not apply in 8 districts.
“In the same circumstances, two rules apply to the same test.
In 8 districts, the OBC candidate with a score of 45% in graduation does not meet the requirements to appear in the test while they qualify in the non-TSP area,” Patel said.
