OCS main exams begin in the midst of increasing Covid cases

Bhubaneswar: The main examination of Odisha civil service (OCS) -2020, carried out by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), began on Thursday, in the midst of Spurt in the Covid-19 case in the state.
Examination will continue until February 8.
The state did not change its decision to conduct a test even though the candidate had asked him to be postponed and then dated considering the increasing case of Covid-19 throughout the state.
Examination was carried out in two parts with Covid-19 norms in place.
The first round occurred between 9 am and during the day, while the second half from 2pm to 5 pm.
All candidates enter the inspection center by wearing the N-95 mask.
Even though the sanitiser is available at the test site, there are still many candidates carrying their own bottle of sanitiser.
The examinees sat in the exam hall by maintaining social distance and other Covid-19 guidelines.
There are separate rooms at the exam center to accommodate candidates with Covid-19 symptoms.
In addition to candidates, the Odisha Congress Youth Wing has written to the Opsc Chair, asking for a test to be postponed.
However, the government or OPSC does not pay attention to their requests.
