October 30 Bypoll in 4 Bengal Chairs, Counting on 2 Nov

Kolkata: The door election commission on Tuesday announced bypoll in four remaining assembly chairs in Bengal.
Dinhata (Cooch Behar), Santipur (Nadia), Khardah (24 parganas) and Gosaba (24 South Parganas) will choose on October 30 while calculations will be held on November 2, two days before Diwali.
According to the EC Press Note, the last day for archiving nominations is October 8 and the same thing will be studied on October 11, Mahasashi’s Day.
The last day of nominated withdrawal was October 16, a day after Dussehra.
The Dinhata and Santipur chairs fell emptiness after the winner of Nisith Pramanik and Jagannath Sarkar, both BJP MPs, decided to resign from the Bengal Assembly and maintain their parliamentary membership.
Trinamool Congress Candidate from Khardah Kajal Sinha died because the sound was calculated while three times Gosaba Mla Jayanta Naskar was tested positively on May 2 and died on June 20.
Senior Trinamool and former Minister of Shobhandebadhyay, who resigned from Bhowanipore to make for the Chairman of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee, is likely to get a ticket from Khardah.
The Minister of Finance Amit Mitra has not opposed the election of the election this year for health reasons, but was appointed in the Banerjee Mamata Cabinet on May 10.
Now he must be elected from one of the seats on November 10.
If the source of the party to be trusted, the former Union Minister of Babul Supriyo, who recently turned to the Trinamool from BJP, can also land Bypoll tickets.
The Fresh EC announcement came a little more than three weeks after deciding to hold an election on September 30 in Bhowanipore and in Jangipur and Samserven on Murshidabad.
The election was not held in the last two seats due to sudden death candidates.

Minister Chandrima Bhattacharya said: “The selection was held in two phases, three in the first phase and four in the second phase.” BJP spokesman Shamik Bhattacharya said: “The election during this season will cause irritation among voters.” “We wondered how the Secretary of the Chief could give a nod to the Bypoll’s schedule when a series of festivals, from Durga Puja to Diwali and Fate Dudam, lined up during this time,” said the CPM leader Rabin Deb.
Veteran congress and members of Rajya Sabha Pradip Bhattacharya were also disappointed.
“I’m afraid the election commission doesn’t track the main festivals in Bengal,” he said.
