All Indian Councils for Technical Education (AICTE) have signed a memorandum of understanding with the Institute of Study and Research Odia (IOSR) to prepare these translated books to start Btech and Diploma courses in academic language 2022-23.
According to the plan, nine technical books were being translated into odiah for BTECH first year courses.
Likewise, 11 books will be ready for the first year diploma course.
Translation work began in November last year.
“Many talented and experienced retired professors are involved in work to develop good odiah books for technical courses.

“We have framed guidelines for translations of technical books in odia.

“We will translate 42 books for BTECH the second year and 46 books for the second year diploma.
