BHUBANESWAR: The Odia Society UAE celebrated’International Raja Parba-2021′ via an Electronic Stage on Sunday.
Odias settled over 21 states, attended the digital occasion and precious Odisha’s rich culture and art.
“Since it wasn’t feasible to delight in the Raja festival during the Covid War, we proposed it through the digital platform.
It was heartening to find an overwhelming reaction from the international Odia diaspora,” explained Dr Chandrasekhar Khuntia, leader of this Odia Society UAE.
Chief minister Naveen Patnaik and Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan expressed their best wishes and enjoyed the efforts of this Odia Society UAE for encouraging the nation’s culture abroad.
“I love the glimpse of their UAE Odia Society to link individuals to our ethnic origins.
The party of Raja Parba will surely be an awesome experience for each of you,” Naveen’s written content stated.
Puri Jagannath temple chief secretary Krishan Kumar and distinguished writer Dr Pratibha Ray amongst the others attended the event and talked about the importance of the yearly Raja festival.
