BERHAMPUR: Police on Sunday arrested at least 14 individuals for supposedly murdering a 50-year-old person on suspicion of witchcraft in Ramayapalli village beneath Ganjam district Chamakhandi police station limits.
This is actually the very first documented criminal episode in the village in the past ten decades, the authorities said.
The deceased has been identified as Venkat Raman, alias Ravana, an astrologer.
