A 59-year-old Guy recovered in Covid-19 after Fighting the Disease for over a month in a Committed Covid Center in the MKCG Medical College and Hospital here.
Gouri Shankar Mohapatra, also a former lecturer at Berhampur University, has been admitted to the hospital April 21with high temperature and reduced oxgyen correction level.
He had been released on Thursday.
“from those 36 days that he spent at the Covid hospitalhe had been on ventilator support from the ICU for 20 times,” Santosh Mishra, superintendent, MKCG Medical College and Hospital, stated.
Sources said his illness had been vital in the time of entry in the hospital.
He needed to be changed into the ICU the following moment.
Throughout therapy, his oxygen saturation level had dipped to 70 percent, the sources added.
“But, the physicians kept tracking his situation.
His recovery has been made possible due for their tireless efforts,” Mishra said.
District collector (Ganjam) Vijay Amruta Kulange thanked the doctors for assisting the guy endure Covid.
“This can increase the confidence of other Covid patients battling for life” Mohapatra, a linguist, couldn’t thank the physicians enough for providing him a new lease of life.
He was all praise for his hospitality given to him from the hospital employees, such as the physicians, nurses and other health care workers.
Before, his spouse had tested positive for Covid-19.
