Kendrapada: The police have submitted a case against a 30-year-old man on Friday on charges circulating a photo of a police woman and sent him obscene messages to his cellphone and on social media.
The woman, a police officer at the Kendrapada supervisor office (SP), has filed fir and alleged that Bhimasen Sethi from Mahakalapada has sent obscene messages and circulates the photos on the social media platform.
“Acting in FIR, we have launched an investigation and submitted a case against the defendant below 66 (a), 66 (c), 67 of the Information Technology Act (amendment) and 501 (picting or engraving englog) from IPC,” Jyoti said Ranjan Samantray, IIC from the Kendrapada City Police Station.
Sethi, who claimed to run the news portal, had filed firs at the same police station on Thursday.
In his complaint, he stated that the woman’s police did not wear a mask while sitting in the office.
This photo he clicked and posted online where the police had attacked him on Wednesday in front of the SP office.
