Bhubaneswar: Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education Mishra on Saturday made a surprise visit to the BJB Premier autonomy lecture here.
He asked college to continue the classroom in a smart classroom.
According to official sources, Smart classrooms began before the Pandemic Covid-19 hit the state in March last year.
When physical classes cannot be held during a pandemic, smart classrooms are still not used.
“We have two smart classrooms in college to meet the needs of students,” said the Principal of the BJB Autonomy Niranjan Mishra.
College sources say each Smart classroom is equipped with desktops, interactive whiteboards, short throws projectors, portable visualizers, blackboards, green boards, wireless microphones and cameras so students can learn through audio-visual mode.
“All classrooms teach can be recorded and used to conduct classes for other students.
This will provide education to students in the most sophisticated way.
The state has signed a memorandum with government institutions in 2019 to establish classroom classroom facilities at 101 universities,” said A high education department official.
The Secretary of the Department has also advised students not to hold cricket tournaments during college hours.
