Odisha: Campaign for the first phase reaches Crescendo

Bhubaneswar: When the campaign for the first phase of the Panchayat election reached his last leg, leaders and candidates from various parties withdrew all stops to reach voters.
While the State Election Commission (sec) has a relaxed campaign norm that allows small meetings, door-to-door canvassing seems to be the most convenient mode for looking for sound.

Many BJD MLA remained in their constituents for more than a month considering rural polls.
A total of 22,379 wards, 1,669 grams of panthayats and 202 zilla zilla parish the first phase.
Aditya Prasad Padhi’s Commissioner on Saturday held a meeting with all district collectors to review preparations for the first stage of rural polls.
Sound personnel training, booth arrangement, ballot paper, security and safety settings for strong spaces reviewed during meetings.
