Odisha CM inaugurated 3 projects, laid the foundation for 11 more

Bhubaneswar: In a big boost towards the industrialization, Chairman of the Minister of Naveen Patnaik on Friday inaugurated three industrial projects and Laid Foundation Stone for 11 through video conferencing.
These industries include renewable energy, metal and downstream, textiles and clothing, fertilizers, plastic and food processing.
Some of the leading players who promote these projects include Aditya Birla Renewables Limited, IFFCO, Supreme Industries and Britannia Industries Limited.
These investment projects have combined the potential investment of Rs 1,537 Crore, which will produce employment opportunities for around 3,800 people in the state.
“Odisha quickly emerged as a manufacturing center of East India.
My government’s policy and supervision environment has enabled industrial growth in the state.
The implementation of the ease of carrying out business reform and facilitation provided by various departments has ensured that the business continues to grow in the country,” said the minister’s chief.
Respecting industry contributions to their activities based on corporate social responsibility (CSR), Naveen said the industry has actively partnered with the state government not only in economic development but also in the use of social responsibility.
During the peak of the second wave, when the entire country witnessed the lack of medical oxygen, Odisha responded proactively and supported other countries in supplying medical oxygen that save soul.
Some industries in Odisha advanced to donate medical oxygen, tankers, generators, cylinders, and crucial accessories, the main minister said.
The inaugurated projects including solar power plants in Balangir by Aditya Birlalables are limited to the investment of RS 353 Crore, the aluminum dross refining unit in Banjari in Jharsuguda by Runaya to improve LLP on investment Rs 65 Crore and Rs 20-Crore.

Senior Executive Various Industries, including Varun Berry, Managing Director, Britannia Industries Limited, Navin Agarwal, Deputy Chief Executive, Vedanta, Lochan Mohanty Pankaj, Director, Wild Lotus Textile and Amitabh Verma, President (Operation and Technology), Excitting Aditya Birla Limited , Official sources in the Industrial Department said laying Batu Foundation or the inauguration of 195 industrial projects were held since November 2017 consisting of an investment value of Rs 92,460 Crore.
