Bhubaneswar: Chairman of the Minister of Naveen Patnaik on Friday virtually launched a training program for a doctor at a pediatric view given the possibility of the third wave of Covid-19 pandemic which has a high probability of impact on children.
In his speech, the minister’s chairman said that the state government would appoint all available resources to ensure the right health care for children.
Naveen also appreciated the efforts of doctors and health workers in saving valuable lives during the second wave of pandemic.
“We must be very careful because there are third wave reports that are possible and have a high probability of impact on children,” said Naveen.
Stating that the state government has approved the action plan to create infrastructure including equipment and medicine for child care, Naveen said the training of doctors for child care is very important to ensure the capacity to care for children.
“This will be a real challenge.
If such a situation appears, we need to be prepared,” said the minister’s chief.
Oversee the third possible wave, the state government has designed this training program for general duty medical officers and nursing officers.
Naveen also launched several Covid training capsules, video awareness and wallet for Frontline workers.
“The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has destroyed throughout the world.
Many countries have been influenced by many waves of Covid infection.
India is also very affected by two waves of Covid infection.
Because more than one year, Odisha has been alert, to overcome the situation of the pandemic.
We have taken Proactive steps to contain the spread of the virus, “said Naveen.
The minister’s chairman said the state has formed a large network of government and private covid hospitals in all districts to provide free quality care to our people.
Naveen said the level of infection is currently down and the situation is under control.
“However, there are reports of the possibility of the third wave and the possibility of its impact on children,” said Minister of Chief.
The minister’s chairman expressed happiness of the increase in vertical capacity in the state and for administration increased on that occasion, and trained all levels of health staff, ranging from specialists to frontline functioners in a short period of time.
