Bhubaneswar: CM Naveen Patnaik on Sunday said the Odisha sports model was praised throughout the country and was the support of the vision that the state had seen for many years.
In video messages on national sports days, Naveen said the entire country loved Odisha to support the national hockey team, who proceeded to the history of the script at the Tokyo Olympics.
“Our partnership model and high-performance centers have attracted national attention.
This is our approval of vision, investment, and efforts in sports.
This is an opportunity for each of us to work together with increasing commitment to take sports to a larger altitude.

By stating that the performance of the Indian Hockey Team in Tokyo was a true award for Dhyan Chand, whose birthday was celebrated as National Sports Day, Naveen said, “This time, we celebrate today with all happiness, glory and splendor.” The state in 2018 announced a five-year sponsor of the men’s and women’s hockey team, which has now been extended for more than 10 years.

On Sunday, the state also annoyed the award winner of the Biju Patnaik for sports and courage in special functions in the Secretariat.
Indian Hockey team defender Amit Rohidas, who gets the 100th hat at the Tokyo Olympics, receives awards for extraordinary performance in sports and games.
Rohidas accepted a quote and award of cash amounting to RS 2 Lakh.
