Bhubaneswar: Chairman of the Minister of Naveen Patnaik on Friday launched a training program for doctors on child care because there was a high probability of children affected during the third possible third wave.
In his speech, Naveen said the state government would make all resources available to ensure the right health care for children.
Naveen also appreciated the efforts of doctors and health workers in saving valuable lives during the second wave.
“We must be very careful because there are reports from the possibility of the third wave and have high probabilities to have an impact on children,” said Naveen.
It states that the state government has approved the action plan to create infrastructure, including equipment and medicines for child care, Naveen said the training of doctors was very important.
“This will be a real challenge.
If such a situation appears, we need to be prepared,” said the minister’s chief.
Oversee the third possible wave, the state government has designed this training program for general duty medical officers and nursing officers.
Naveen also launched several Covid training capsules, video awareness and wallets for frontline workers.
The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has destroyed throughout the world.
Many countries have been influenced by many waves of covid infections.
“India is also very affected by two waves of Covid infection.
Because more than a year, Odisha has been vigilant, to overcome the situation of the pandemic.
We have taken proactive steps to contain the spread of the virus,” Naveen said.
The minister’s chairman said the state had formed a large network of government and private covid hospitals in all districts to provide free quality care to people.
Naveen said the level of infection is currently down and the situation is under control.
However, there are reports of the possibility of the third wave and the possibility of its impact on children, the ministerial head said.
He expressed happiness of the increase in vertical capacity in the state and for administration increased on the occasion and trained all levels of health staff, ranging from specialists to frontline functionaries in a short time.
