Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik tends to visit all districts before rustic polls

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of Panciran polls, scheduled to be held early next year, Chairman of the Minister of Naveen Patnaik is likely to visit all 30 countries to launch the revised Swashya Yojana (BSKY) BIJU and various other development projects.
After visiting Malkangiri District, Sundargarh, Balalanir and Gajapati in the past two months, on Thursday, the minister’s chairman visited Brahmagiri in Puri Regency and began distributing smart cards under BSKY.
He also put the foundation stone from various development projects worth Rs 1,000 Crore.
At the event, Patnaik said castle people always hand in hand with the state government for development work.
“Development of Jagannath Dham is the sacral task of the state government.
Puri is also the first city in this country to implement the beverage-from-tap facilities,” he added.
Highlighting the benefits of the revised BSKY, the main minister said that every life is very valuable to the government and he wants everyone to live with dignity.
Official sources say revised schemes will be launched in all districts before December and detailed programs in this case are being worked on.
Under the revised BSKY, announced by the chairman of the Minister of Independence Day, the State will provide a smart health card to nearly 96 lakh households (around 3.5 crore people), ensuring health care facilities are free and without cash to beneficiaries at All governments and 200 private hospitals.
