BHUBANESWAR: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday declared a Covid-19 bundle worth Rs 1,690 crore which could benefit from landless farmers, construction workers, the urban poor, food safety beneficiaries, MGNREGS employees along with also the primitive tribes of this nation.
Announcing the bundle Naveen explained though the Covid-19 outbreak had impacted the financial state of various parts of their society, the more socially and economically poorer ones were that the worst-affected.
“The continuing lockdown from the nation has impacted the financial status of the weak and employee sections of this country.
Maintaining their insecurities in your mind, the state government has declared the bundle,” he added.
Included in this bundle, approximately 17.83 lakh landless agricultural labourers will be given a financial aid of Rs 1,000 eachyear.
They’d also get Rs 207 crore in 3 instalments below the state administration’s Kalia scheme.
The ministry announced Rs 260 crore below the Mukhyamantri Karma Tatpara Abhiyan (MUKTA), that intends to offer employment opportunities to the urban poor from the 114 urban regional bodies of this country.
In the same way, employees below the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) could find an extra Rs 50 daily as chief minister support over and above the normal wage for 3 weeks in April 2021 on June 2021.
The state government will invest about Rs 300 crore for the goal.
Beneath the country food safety strategy, Naveen declared 5kg of rice at no cost by July to November which it will pay Rs 92.86 crore.
Before, the Centre had long free foodgrain strategy to National Food Security Act (NFSA) beneficiaries before November.
The government will offer Rs 33.10 crore in livelihood assistance of Rs 5,000 a household to 13 especially vulnerable tribal bands (PVTGs).
The help is going to be deposited into the account of this PVTGs.
In the same way, post-matric pupil of over five lakh SC?ST pupils amounting to Rs 252.35 for 2 weeks (April-September 2021) could be deducted from the bank account of the parents.
