Bhubaneswar: Continuing at a slow speed in which cases of Covid Daily falls in Odisha, experts say it is impossible to fall below 1000 whenever in July.
The government projects that everyday cases will drop below 1000 on July 15.
But it didn’t seem to be achieved on Wednesday reported 2,074 cases from 69,287 samples tested, registering 3% participation levels.
This happens after the country maintains a daily case of less than 2,000 for the past three days.
With new infections, the count of active cases in the state reaches 22,860.

However, since June, the number of cases has oscillated between 2,000 and 3,000.

Mayurbhanj, Balalasore, Bhadrak (District near each other) jointly reported 340 new cases while Jajpur (close to Cuttack) reported 120 cases.
Khurda and Cuttack with 443 and 283 new cases maintain a number of stable infections.
Cities such as Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri are major contributors due to poor Covid compliance.
“This is a sad condition because people do not obey the rules.
People in the capital must learn from their brothers from West and South Odisha.
Unless they improve their way, they and others will continue to suffer,” said Jayant Panda , Government Technical Advisor in Covid-19.
The state on Wednesday confirmed 65 Covid deaths, with the highest 20 of the Khurda, took the victim to 4,795.
