CUTTACK: Union minister for petroleum and natural gas, Dharmendra Pradhan, on Tuesday inaugurated 11 CNG stations set up by GAIL in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
Pradhan inaugurated the CNG stations along with 201 others across the country during a ceremony which was conducted virtually.
As per the petroleum ministry information, seven CNG stations have been set up in Bhubaneswar and four in Cuttack.
Five of the CNG stations are on NH-16 and six are within the cities.
“We are planning 10,000 CNG stations across the country and more such CNG stations will come up in Odisha,” Pradhan said.
