Odisha extends Semi lockdown until July 1, opens Boundaries

BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha authorities on Wednesday expanded the tight lockdown for 2 more weeks until July 1 and also split the country into two groups based upon the Covid-19 positivity pace, ” a senior officer said.
The constraints will be in force until 5 am of July 1, main secretary S C Mohapatra stated.
The weekend shutdowns on Saturdays and Sundays may even continue across Odisha until the close of the month.
He explained that under Category A, you’ll find 17 districts situated in southern and western areas of the country where the hardness rate is just 5 percent or not, while 13 districts in coastal areas comprise in Category B,” the official stated.
Mohapatra reported the boundaries using Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand will then be started keeping in view the decrease in C0vid-19 instances in these nations, but limitations will continue across the boundaries with West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh.
