Odisha: Former Balasore Mla Arun Dey died

Bhubaneswar: Former Balasore Mla and a leader of Firebrand Arun Dey died at a private hospital here on Monday at the age of 75 years.
He underwent treatment for post-covid complications.
Dey, native Balasore, living in Bhubaneswar.
The constituency people with love call it ‘chest’.
He had joined the Communist Party in India (CPI) in 1971 and continued in the party until 1994.
He was chosen as Balasore Mla for the first time in 1974.
In 1995, he fought the election of the Assembly as an independent candidate and won a chair from Balalasore.
Then he joined Orissa Gana Parisad (OGP) and became MLA on OGP tickets in 2004.
This five-time MLA struggled for labor rights.
Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal, Chair of the Minister of Naveen Patnaik, Minister of Education Union Dharmendra Pradhan, Housing and Minister of Urban Development Pratap Jena and other leaders who cut party lines that beat Dey’s death.
