Bhubaneswar: Former Balasore Mla and a leader of Firebrand Arun Dey died at a private hospital here on Monday at the age of 75 years.
He underwent treatment for post-covid complications.

He had joined the Communist Party in India (CPI) in 1971 and continued in the party until 1994.
He was chosen as Balasore Mla for the first time in 1974.
In 1995, he fought the election of the Assembly as an independent candidate and won a chair from Balalasore.
Then he joined Orissa Gana Parisad (OGP) and became MLA on OGP tickets in 2004.
This five-time MLA struggled for labor rights.
