The first flight, eight-chair, brought four Super specialists from SCB Medical College and hospitals and two senior health department officials, departing from Biju Patnaiik International Airport and landed at Jeypore Airport.
From YeFore, the doctors traveled 100 km per run to the Malkangiri District Head Office Hospital.
After giving consultation and conducting a two-day procedure, they will return to Jeydore through the road and fly back to Bhubaneswar from there on Tuesday.
“New services will help the more weaker part economically utilize high quality care,” said Naveen after inaugurating the program.
The government has announced that services will be provided in four districts, the other three are Nabarangpur, Goddown and Nabanada.
Bijay Mohapatra, Director of Health Services, which exists among those who boarded the first flight, said, “This service is being planned on three levels.
