Religious: Five years ago, 10-year-old Mamali Bhatalyarda parents in the Ganjam district, learned that he had a hole in the heart (default heart disease in medical language).
After the advice of a doctor, they waited for two years because of his condition to improve himself, without medical or surgical intervention.
But all their hopes ran to the ground when he was getting weaker and pale, it was not healthier during the period.
After running from the pillar to the post, the girl’s father found help at health staff, which signed the students at her school.
They advised him to take advantage of the Rashtriya Bal Swasrya (RBSK) Center scheme, which provided free diagnosis and treatment of children affected by congenital heart disease.
“After meeting the modalities to take advantage of free maintenance, he is operated at a private hospital in Ahmedabad, one of the health institutions returned with a recent scheme.
Now he leads normal life,” his mother said Sabita.
Likewise, the parents of seven-year-old Rajashree daily bets from the whole are very worried when the doctor told them that the survival chance of his surviving, if he did not operate after soon.
“I don’t know where and how to regulate money for my daughter’s surgery,” Sarathi, a daily worker, said.
He added, “During that period, the RBSK team approached us.
After the documents needed, they took us to Ahmedabad and acknowledged my daughter to the hospital, where the operation was done.
I could not thank the government enough to provide a new lease of life to My daughter.
“Like Mamali and Rajashree, as many as eight children in the age group 0-13 in Ganjam Regency have been successfully operated based on the scheme in the past month.
All of these children came to the city hospital here for their post-operative examination on Thursday.
“We have sent 12 children to operation in two phases in the past month.
While eight has undergone surgery, three have been referred to other hospitals for better care.
