Odisha government health card causes political storms

Bhubaneswar: Politics over the Government of State of Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) has increased with BJP to call for election propaganda while Congress said health cards must be for all.
The head of the Minister of Naveen Patnaik on Sunday announced a plan to expand BSKY to cover 96 families of the lakh, up from 71.69 lakh at this time.
That means about 3.5 crores, people from the population of 4.5 crore countries will get a smart health card.
Secretary General of BJP Lekhashree Samantsinghar told the media on Wednesday that BSKY was a failed scheme.
“It cannot be successfully implemented in all districts.
The health sector is in poor condition in Odisha.
Without further delay, the state government must apply Ayushman Bharat in Odisha for the benefit of the people,” Samantsinghar said.
Niranjan Congress President Patnaik said the government must include everyone in the scheme.
“Why will the Crore Odia lose the scheme?” He asked.
BJD slams Samantsinghar for his comments.
“Every time the state government appears with a scheme for its people, BJP criticizes for criticism.
Samantsinghar plays dirty politics over this problem.
He will know how the scheme helps people in the coming days,” said Ipsita Sahu, a BJD spokesman.
