Bhubaneswar: Four of the main infrastructure giants have participated in the supply process to implement the plan to rebuild state governments for SCB Medical College and hospitals in Cuttack.
Official sources in the State Work Department said two tenders, one for clinical and other blocks for housing blocks, was deraved by Odisha Bridge and Construction Corporation (OBCC) Ltd under the State Work Department.
The combined fee of tenders will be around RS 2,900 Crore.
While three companies – L & T, Shapoorji Pallonji and NCC Ltd – have participated in the bidding process for clinical blocks, Tata projects along with the three above in the race for the implementation of housing blocks.
“We are evaluating the offer submitted by the company.
The supply process will be completed within a month.
Tender will be given after the Cabinet Approval of the State Cabinet,” said a senior government official.
Construction of various departments and hospital buildings is part of the clinical block, the development of staff quarters and hostel buildings will be taken under the housing block.
Because the target has been set for the completion of the first phase rebuilding project from the Premier Health Center in January 2024, the State Work Department has a variety of work tracked quickly as the routing returns electric path, shift overhead tank, building demolition and demolition of cutting and transplantation trees.
