Bhubaneswar: In the midst of uncertainty of reopening educational institutions for the second year in a row because of the Covid situation, the Odisha government on Monday announced the first cut-off list to enter the two courses.
This year the cut-off sign at Junior Higher Education Ravenshaw and BJB has risen slightly compared to last year.
As many as 3.86, 464 students have been selected to be included in the streamology of science, art and trade in various universities in the first list of achievements published on Monday.
Receipt will be held on September 14-21.
Ravenshaw Higher Secondary School in Cuttack has the highest cut-off value among schools in the state in the third stream of art, science and trade.
In the flow of science, the cut-off sign in Ravenshaw was 91.33% followed by 90.67% at BJB Junior College, and 87.83% in Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Nilakantha Nagar in mixed.
Last year the cut-off in three institutes was 89%, 88.6%, and 86.67% respectively.

Ravenshaw has the highest cut-off of 79.3% for art, BJB College has 78% and higher school governments Rourkela has a 75% cut-off.
The cut-off for art last year was 72.5%, 71.83%, and 67.83% in this college respectively.
For the trade stream, the highest cut-off was 82% followed by 80.83% in Rourkela government and 77.67% in Sailabala Women’s Junior College in Cuttack.
The cut-off for last year’s trade flow was 75.83% in Ravenshaw followed by 75.5% in the HSS government Rourkela and 74% at BJB Junior College.
“It is hoped that the cut-off will rise because students have gained better grades through alternative assessment schemes and larger students passing class X compared to last year.
This year local or rural college will get many good students and will have cuts -Off is high, “said Bhagirathi Kandi, a senior officer at the High Secondary Education Directorate.
As many as 4, 35, 092 students submitted a request to enter 3, 86, 464 students have been selected in the first list.
Among the elected students 3, 65, 920 students fainted from the Secondary Education Council (BSE).
