Bhubaneswar: The school and mass education department on Wednesday made a decision to reopen the hostel for class X and XII students from July 26.
Given this, the department has produced a standard operating procedure (SOP) to run the hostel during the time of the pandemic.
According to SOP, there must be an isolation room in the hostel and if some residents fall ill, it must be isolated immediately, and proper care must be taken for care.
The head of the hostel or institute must ensure that students are stored at the appropriate distance and in staggering ways.
The public areas in the hostel such as chaos and toilets are maintained and well dissed by regular intervals.
Patient soap / hand cleanser must be provided by the Institute to be used by residents.
“Dormitory prisoners may not gather in certain spaces within the hostel and the hostel authority must be aware of that effect,” read the SOP.
